The mission of the Human Capital Services department is to assist sales professionals, managers, executives and organizations, accelerate the attainment of their business goals. The foundation of the services offered is based on the experience acquired during thirty years of managing Sales, Support and Services teams with national and multinational organizations (IT, Pharmaceutical, Retail). Graduated in Organizational Psychology (McGill University) which provides the practice with the appropriate analysis capabilities and solutions.
The focus of the practice is to accelerate sales, marketing, and services objectives by releasing the organizations human capital potential via different services offerings.
Services for individual contributors, Managers and organizations:
Coaching: The focus is on short term development. After identifying two to three areas of development, monthly one hour sessions are scheduled to discussed the progress or issues. Popular areas of interest; time management and work life balance, communications strategies, conflict resolution, leverage internal politics.
Mentoring: The focus is on longer term goals and support. After identifying two or three areas of development, on top of monthly one hour sessions, an additional bank of eight hours can be used when required (service is available seven days a week). Popular areas on interest are: Improving team communications, conflict and crisis management, team motivation, building a high performance team.
Psychometric testing to assess potential: Leveraging different types of tests conducted online, the process will provided a detailed report on the employee’s strengths, weaknesses and potential. The goal is to provide an accurate bearing of the employee’s cognitive abilities and personality/behavioural style. Different levels of testing are available depending of the current status of the employee and the potential position considered (individual contributor, manager, executive).
Team talent assessment and potential: Leveraging the 9 Box Performance Potential Matrix, the process involves two planning sessions with the people managers of the organization. The first session is mainly focus on understanding the tool and processes, calibrating the definitions and standards of performance and potential. The second session is the consolidation of the individual grids and the discussion among the managers of where and why their employees are positioned. The outcome is a precise classification of all the key individual contributors in regards to their potential and performance. This process also provides a company wide view of the top talent, facilitating the promotion process.
Art of presenting: This half-day session will cover all the basic techniques and strategies to build and deliver an effective PowerPoint presentation, up to how to deliver an impactful speech to a large audience. This session will include how to prepare your speech, video feedback exercises, reading the body language of the audience, boardroom set-up and strategy, how to move on stage in front of large audience and many more important techniques in order to deliver a more impactful presentation. The seminar can be given as an individual session or up to six participants.
Leadership Development, the Shackleton expedition: The program is based on one of the great explorers of the 20th century, Sir Ernest Shackleton. When he tried to cross Antarctica in 1914 with a crew of 27 men, the ship Endurance was stuck for eleven months before being destroyed by the ice. They finally all survived more than 22 months in very difficult conditions. The book written by Margot Morrel, Shackleton’s Way which was a New York Times best selliner, serves as the foundation for the program. Through interactive sessions, we analyze the main principles of Shackleton’s leadership style and the impact on the crew of the Endurance.
We will explore the following principles;
– Leadership by example
– The importance of communications
– How to build and motivate a team
– The power of being realistic and optimistic
The program is available in three formats:
– One day workshop, with fifteen to twenty participants
– Half day clinic, with fifteen to twenty participants
– Interactive conference, 90 minutes with an unlimited number of participants

Shackleton’s Way; Exploring Leadership Workshop:
This workshop is based on the true story of Sir Ernest Shackleton’s 1914 Endurance expedition, where he and his crew of twenty-seven men, all survived being stranded for over twenty-two months in Antarctica. At the core of the workshop is the New York Times best-seller book written by Margot Morrell, Shackleton’s Way and the Leadership practices that the explorer used during the incredible adventure.
The interactive workshop is available as a one-day session or half-day leadership clinic. It can be given to a class of people leaders or to a leader with his team. The program can be customized to address particular training objectives.
